Faraland will launch FARA staking function on June 30th, 2021, at 01pm UTC. Users will be able to stake FARA with just a few simple clicks and earn yield in return.
How to stake FARA?
Faraland is a game with the form of “play to earn”. The most direct way to earn money in Faraland is staking. Users will stake with the FARA token.
Where to stake FARA?
Users can stake at [STAKE] section of Faraland homepage (faraland.io).
Currently, Faraland is completing the final stages to put the feature into use on June 30th.
Why staking FARA?
Users will receive many rewards when staking at the same time, which are:
- Experience points to level up for NFT Hero

The formula of EXP points earned when staking is presented in the figure below.
For example:
If you stake 1000 FARA in one full day, which is 86400 second, you will earn 1000 x 86400 / 10⁵ = 864 EXP.
The following formula shows how many EXP points you need to level up your hero.

For example:
lv 1 to lv 2: (1 * (2 * 1 + 1–1) / 2) * 1000 = 1000 EXP
lv 1 to lv 3: (2 * (2 * 1 + 2–1) / 2) * 1000 = 3000 EXP
lv 1 to lv 4: (3 * (2 * 1 + 3–1) / 2) * 1000 = 6000 EXP
Combining the two aforementioned formulas, if you want your hero to reach level 4 (from level 1), you will need to stake 1000 FARA for about 7 days.
Question & Answer
Q1: Can we unstake hero in option 2 (3 month) and option 3 (6 month)?
A: No, you cannot unstake hero. Once you stake your funds in option 2 or option 3, it will automatically be locked in 3 or 6 months respectively.
Q2: During the lock-up period, Can NFT characters can go hunting or level up and experience the game?
A: Yes, basically the heroes are still in your wallet. You can freely use them to experience the game.
Q3: When can I claim my APR reward?
A: You can claim your FARA and EXP reward anytime
Q4: I stake fara tokens by 6 locked months to take level up for hero A. Then after 1–2 months, I want to change to the other hero B for level up with my locked tokens. Is this ok?
A: The EXP will be attached to the NFT hero that you choose. You will have to put in another fund to stake your new hero.
Q5: I’m staking fara to level up my hero, so can I list this hero for sale? And what’s happen when someone take offer to own my hero? Or can I transfer my hero (in staking of fara to level up) to my other wallet and this hero is continous get level up with staked fara tokens of the first wallet?
A: Yes, listing/transferring is still available. However, be aware that the EXP will be attached to the hero that you sold. In other words, the EXP that you stake with your FARA will be gone along with your sold hero to the new owner.
Q6: If I stake 6000 FARA for option-3 pool in 6 months, how many lottery tickets do I have?
A: You will have 2 tickets each month, total 12 lottery tickets in 6 months.
Q7: If I seperate stake hero for example hero 1 stake 2000 fara, hero 2 stake 1000 fara. Does it count or not count as sum 3000 and get staking option 3 or not?
A: The system only counts the amount of FARA staked for each hero. For example, if you choose to stake in option 3, you need to stake multiplies of 3000 per hero to earn tickets.
Q8: If I stake 3000FARA, will I win Option 2 and Option 3 at the same time? Or do I automatically win Option 3 if I stake over 3000FARA?
A: No, you have to choose the option to stake first since it affects the time lock.
Q9: Is the equipment received as a staking reward affected by which Hero (Human, Orc, Elf, etc.) is staked? (When staking to an angel, the probability of receiving angel-only equipment increases, etc…)
A: No, the rewards will not be affected by which hero you choose to stake. Plus, the items can be used interchangeably for all races for now.
Q10: In which part of token allocation is the reward from staking distributed?
A: From Game Incentive, and later on from Gacha Machine.
