Change the mechanism and rewards for staking
With Faraland, the “Play to earn” mechanism is focused on. NFT heroes and game-related activities have always been the main development goals of the Faraland team.
Based on the current situation, Faraland decided to change APR of Staking operations in September 2021.
The updated staking APR will be applied from next month on, the changes are as follows:
Because of blockchain’s decentralized mechanism, anything put on Smart Contract will apply to all. That is: This staking APR change applies to all stakers, including those who have staked since June 2021.
Similarly, tokens that have been staked in the lock pack cannot be unlocked.
For users who have staked from June 2021 to August 17, 2021, users will not be able to unlock their 3/6 months stake. However, Faraland will send users a special gift, details of the team will be announced later.
Because the Game is “play to earn”, not “stake to earn”, so the team will reduce the interest when staking to ensure the reward when playing the game for users.
With this change, only the APR rewards will change, other staking mechanics such as hero leveling will remain unchanged. In addition, mechanisms such as receiving lottery tickets have not changed.
During development, changes are needed. However, Faraland’s goal of becoming the biggest game on the blockchain will never change.
