Faraland is an NFT project, thus, NFT is the soul of the game, focusing on developing an NFT world. Each NFT generated from blockchain technology is unique. NFTs have metadata that tells when they were created, who created them and many other descriptive information. Therefore, even though there are thousands of NFTs attached to items that look similar, the information inside them is completely different.
Faraland’s heroes and equipment are NFTs that are publicly traded and randomly allocated with a preset floor price. In addition, NFT heroes will have superior skills to free heroes. Users can use their NFT heroes in many ways, from equipping them with powerful weapons and armours to boosting combat stats, to take part in merciless battles. This is a game with a fascinating play style and interesting storyline.
Faraland is set against the backdrop of the world after the Great War with Demon Lord Beelzebub. Six guardians representing six races sacrificed themselves, turning into magic crystals that sealed the Demon Lord’s soul. Legend has it that if one of the six crystals is broken, the magical bond will be weakened and the Demon Lord will once again rise and threaten the lives of all mankind. Players will be engaged in the journey to protect the Magic Crystals, fight against the minions of Demon Lord, and search for the Book of God to win the glory for the race.
The Human characters in Faraland are introduced with male and female images, with small, agile bodies and comely faces. Accounting for 50% of Faraland’s inhabitants, although Humans are not as strong as the Orcs, not as wise as the Elves nor as powerful as the Angels, they are indispensable NFT heroes in your tactical squad.
Humans are the weakest of the races with limited physical strength, no magic, low vitality and vulnerability to the external environment. Sharp brains are the only advantage they have, thus, they always try to explore and learn new ways to adapt and endure the harshness of life. They are in the post-apocalyptic stage, almost the entire civilization has been destroyed and life has returned to the primitive era of mechanical technology with bulky and heavy equipment.
Although Nevergate is a rich land, it is too small for the large number of humans. Humans desire to expand their territory but fear the threat of other magical species. Therefore, a part of humans have trained themselves to become warriors to explore new lands and bring back new food sources. They travel on the backs of animals or in huge old planes with upgraded engines. Hunting trips bring back not only food but also remains of ancient civilizations or small magical items from other races. Combining the available technology with the materials found in the post-apocalyptic ruins, they equip themselves with the necessary tools and gadgets to develop and rebuild the empire.
Another part of humans focuses on scientific research aiming to recreate the machines and inventions of the once- flourished civilization. One of them was the teleport door — an invention that takes people to wherever they want instantly, opening up different dimensions. This invention requires the power of the magic crystals and the scientific instructions in the Greenbook (the book of God). However, the magic crystals and the Greenbook are forbidden objects, the former are strictly protected deep inside the earth, and the latter was lost in the Great War a long time ago. It is rumoured that the Greenbook is protected by the Dragonborns. Therefore, many humans have risked their lives trying to find the book of God.
